HOBART

 Welcome to Tasmania and its capital, Hobart, the second oldest capital city in Australia.  We explored the city on a sightseeing tour, visiting iconic landmarks such as Salamanca Market (open on Saturdays), Battery Point, Constitution Dock, and St George’s Church, while taking in the historic streets, waterfront, and vibrant cultural scene.  Our adventure continued with a scenic drive-up Mount Wellington, where we were rewarded with breathtaking views over Hobart and the surrounding mountains and rugged coastline.  Visit Richmond Bridge, which is Australia oldest stone bridge built by convicts which is still remain in use today

HOBART

 Visit Barilla Bay Oyster Farm, where we will learn about oyster farming and sampled fresh oysters straight from the pristine waters of southeast Tasmania.  We then proceeded to Tas Live Abalone for a factory tour and a tasting session, experiencing one of Tasmania’s prized seafood delicacies.  Next, we explored the UNESCO-listed Port Arthur Historic Site, Australia’s most intact and evocative convict settlement, featuring over 30 historic buildings, ruins, and restored period homes.  Our journey continued to Eaglehawk Neck, where we marvelled at remarkable coastal formations.

 Today will be a free day to explore what Hobart has to offer at your own pace

HOBART – HAMILTON – LAUNCESTON

 This morning, we will visit Russell Falls, one of Tasmania’s most beautiful and iconic waterfalls.  Next, we will then immerse ourselves in authentic Tasmanian farm life at Curringa Farm, a working farm offering hands-on experiences including sheep shearing demonstrations, farm dog demonstrations, and a comprehensive farm tour.  In the afternoon, we will proceed to Launceston
