In the year1220 AD, Genghis Khan declared Harhorin as the capital of the MongolEmpire, making it the heart of the empire that spanned across Eurasia.

    Visit the Mongol Empire Museum andexplore the ancient [Erdene Zuu] Monastery along with famousattractions like the 108 White Stupas.     This park boasts rolling green hills and vast grasslands and serves as a breeding and conservation center for the world's most outstanding Przewalski's horses, which were once extinct in Mongolia with only about 250 horses remaining. With assistance from the Netherlands, they were successfully bred and reintroduced into the wild in Khustain. During the journey, you'll witness endless grasslands and natural grazing of cattle, horses, and sheep along the roadside.

    Built to celebrate the 50th anniversary of therevolution and commemorate the Russian-Mongolian martyrs whosacrificed their lives during World War II to resist Japan and NaziGermany. The Hero Soldier Memorial has a circular plaque on its side, with carvings symbolizing the brotherly friendship between Mongoliaand Russia. In the center of the circular plaque's design, there is a torchthat perpetually burns. From the Zaisan Memorial, you can have abird's-eye view of the entire Ulaanbaatar city.
